The Book was Better Book Club Discussion

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Danbury Library
Lower Level Meeting Room

Event Details

Join us for “The Book Was Better” book club. Each month we will select a book that has been made into a movie. We will hold a book discussion on the first Tuesday of the month (except May when it will be the second Tuesday). The night before the discussion, we will offer a movie showing so you can be fully prepared to compare and contrast the two materials at this discussion. You are welcome to watch the movie on your own at your own leisure as well. Sign up here for the discussion and we will be happy to place a hold on a copy of the book and/or movie for you to pick up.

Book selections by month:

February: Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

March: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (movie version is 2013 directed by Baz Luhrmann)

April: The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

May: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
