Danbury Library
Lower Level Meeting Room

Event Details

Are you looking for legal advice concerning your case, but don't know where to start?  Does your case involve landlord/tenant, immigration law, family law, employment, consumer rights, personal injury, or other areas of law?

Danbury Library is pleased to partner with the Connecticut Bar Association to offer patrons the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an attorney for a private 20-minute session here at the library. This is a preliminary information session to guide patrons in the beginning portion of their cases. Please note, this session is a one-time, introductory appointment to the legal side of the situation. The attorney cannot meet with you more than once or outside of your appointment time.

Please bring any informational materials pertaining to your case so that the attorney can provide their best assistance. You will be required to sign a consent form about the limited services provided. Currently, sessions are provided in English only.

If you are an attorney who wants to provide pro bono services through the Lawyers in Libraries program, email FreeLegalAdviceClinic@ctbar.org. The CBA provides professional liability insurance for legal advice provided during a Lawyers in Libraries event.
