The Squirrel family—from tiny chipmunks to gray, red and flying squirrels to big prairie dogs—is one of the most widespread on Earth. There are around 300 species of squirrels that can glide through the air, outwit rattlesnakes and survive the coldest temperatures of any mammal.

In Connecticut, the Eastern Gray Squirrel is ubiquitous, seen and heard throughout the State, it is beloved, bewildering and abhorred. Join Master Wildlife Conservationist Ginny Apple and learn about squirrels, their effect on our ecosystems, their habits, habitats and surprising qualities.

Free! Registration is required.
