Event Details

Please Note: This is a virtual program via Zoom. Participants will receive a link to the program via email upon completing registration.

Imagine that you are serving Presidents, heads of state and dignitaries from around the world. Former White House butler Alan DeValerio will be speaking about his first-hand experiences with history, regaling us with stories from those people that he worked with who have been taking care of our First Families ever since the Franklin Roosevelt administration!

Alan will also display many of the White House artifacts (menus, programs, personal photos, etc.) that he has collected over the years. This is a presentation that you won't want to miss!

DeValerio was a contract butler for The White House for about ten years, he said. His first job was the farewell dinner for outgoing President Jimmy Carter in December 1984. He continued working, he said, through the full Reagan era, and then left during the early part of George H.W. Bush’s term.

Free, Registration is required.
