Debby Reelitz, the owner of Lettering Designs will talk about decorated letters, some historical samples and the impact they have on design. She will teach you how to draw sea creatures exploring color combinations, blending and shading. 

At the time of registration, patrons will receive a link to choose the versal letter and animal they would like to trace and color for their decorated letter. Patrons should pick up their Grab and Go kits the week of July 11th.   Colored pencil techniques will be discussed while you work on your decorated letter. 

Each Grab & Go Bag will include:

1) Versal letter of your choice

2) Animal worksheet with ocean critters

4) Pencils and colored pencils

5) Drawing paper 

Debby Reelitz is an experienced calligrapher with over 20 years as a professional lettering artist.  Throughout her calligraphy gallery, you’ll find an array of works from simple to complex, architectural to ephemeral, elegant to playful.
