Event Details

Please Note: This is a virtual program via Zoom. Participants will receive a link to the program via email upon completing registration.

Christmas was one of the Roosevelts favorite holidays of the year. However, how did the dark times brought about by the Great Depression and World War II impact the way the Roosevelts and Americans celebrated the Christmas holiday? Why did the Roosevelts often celebrate Christmas at the White House rather than at Hyde Park? In this presentation, Jeffrey Urbin of the FDR Presidential Library, will present the customs and traditions followed by the Roosevelt family as they celebrated Christmas.

FREE! Registration is required.
