Please Note: This is a virtual program via Zoom. Participants will receive a link to the program via email once they have registered. Registration closes at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Most people encounter the “study of the stars” while reading “horoscope” forecasts for zodiac signs. But there’s so much more to this field – astrology examines literally “everything under the Sun,” with a fascinating array of specialties.

Join us to learn about the history of astrology as practiced in the West, astrology as a science, and an art that grew out of astronomy.  Also included in the presentation will be an introduction to the astrological chart and its four elements, a discussion of the twelve signs and how they connect to seasons, and help in the interpretation of charts.

Presented by Usha Kumar, MBA, Astrological Researcher and member of the Board of Directors of the Astrological Society of CT.  Since 2010 Ms. Kumar has been the host and producer of "Practical Talk Time" on Comcast Public Access Channel 1070 in Danbury, Bethel, and Ridgefield, CT.
