THIS IS A PRE-RECORDED FACEBOOK PREMIERE EVENT.

It's summertime and the sun is shining, which means it's time to go outside and enjoy nature! Join Darcy each month as she learns about plants and tours local gardens! 

This month we visit Connecticut College's Native Plant Collection in New London, CT, learn about the difference between native and invasive plants, and make our own simple greenhouse!

All ages are welcome!

Register and pick up your paper plate greenhouse kit from the Library! Registration is required to receive your kit. Kits will be available for pickup starting Monday, August 16th. All kits not picked up by Monday, August 30 will be made available for first come, first served pickup.

Supplies to make your paper plate greenhouse:
  • 2 Paper Plates
  • Paper Towels
  • Bean Seeds 
  • 1 Plastic Zipper Bag
  • Tape or Staples (not included in the kit)
  • Scissors (not included in the kit)
  • Markers (not included in the kit)
  • Water (not included in the kit)
