Winter has left and the sun is shining, which means it's time to go outside and enjoy nature! Join Darcy each month as she learns about plants and tours local gardens! 

This month we visit Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford, CT, learn about how plants get water and nutrients, see how our marigolds are growing, and make colorful flowers using a process called chromatography! 

All ages are welcome!

Register and pick up your chromatography kit from the Library! Registration is required to receive a materials kit. Kits will be available for pickup starting Monday, May 17th.  All kits not picked up by Monday, May 31 will be made available for first come, first served pickup.

Supplies to make your chromatography flower:
  • Coffee Filters
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • 1 Small Cup (not included in the kit)
  • Markers (not included in the kit)
  • Water (not included in the kit)
