WMNIC (Women's Mentoring Network) is offering a series of events for the month of March for Women's History month to empower women with the challenges of an ever changing technological landscape who are seeking jobs or careers. There will be a total of 5 workshops that Grow with Google will be offering in partnership with WMNIC and other organizations including the Danbury Library.

Did you know that one in three jobs in 2021 will require skills that aren’t common today? Digital-based skills are growing 2.5x faster and offer 18% higher wages. At these series of 5 workshops, you’ll learn the skills to empower yourself in your next job or career path!

Discover new job opportunities using Google Search, and learn how to organize and enhance your job search experience using Google Workspace tools. In this session we’ll discuss best practices for:

  • Discovering career opportunities using Job Search on Google
  • Using Google Sheets to track the progress of job applications
  • Creating a resume using Google Docs

Presented by Sixcia Devine; Sixcia (pronounced six-see-ya) is an author, educator, and speaker on digital marketing, cause-related marketing, social entrepreneurship, and innovative business planning. She is a trainer for the Grow with Google partner program. As an international and sought-after speaker, she helps businesses and organizations use technology to connect with communities and clients within growth markets.
