Are you considering learning new tech skills to boost your marketability and increase your income?

Everyone wins with career advancements gained by acquiring in-demand skills to compete in a tech-savvy workforce.  Join us to explore some of these skills!

Whether you’re considering a job change, seeking a promotion with your current employer, or thinking about going independent, this event explores the current in-demand computer and tech skills.

Presented in four parts, we will explore the skill sets and provide self-help resources.

Part 1: Coding Skills - Tuesday, April 13th from 7:00 to 8:00 pm

Coders write instructions for computers, web pages, mobile apps, and more.  Maybe you’ve heard of HTML, a formatting language for creating web content.  Or Javascript, a programming language that can animate web pages or have them interact with a database.  We will explore these and other types of coding implementations!

Don't be intimidated by the word "Coding"!  This is not a workshop on programming, but rather, some skills and tools that even beginners will find helpful.

For example, with self-help practice using the tips and references provided, you can add skills such as these to your resume:

"Digital Marketing Creator", with an intro to the basics of the HTML web markup language for creating web content, and also Javascript to make web pages come to life with animations and more!

"Digital Promotions Specialist" - You'll learn to create simple interactive experiences for customers and clients via walk-up kiosks and displays.... for product information, menus and daily food specials, sales promotions, information about your business, etc.

"Office Automation Specialist" - We'll explore an amazing tool called AutoHotKey for automating routine data entry, web searching, and other business tasks.  Imagine being able to reduce lengthy spreadsheet entries or QuickBooks transactions from minutes to seconds!

Free! Registration Required.
