Come hear tales from Connecticut’s Revolutionary past with master storyteller Carolyn Stearn. Meet the women and men who helped fight for freedom on the homefront and battlefield. From 18th century STEM projects to the women who worked to keep farms and towns running, hear the stories of both prominent figures and lesser known individuals who helped shape our state and country. Presented in partnership with CT Humanities and CT Storytelling Center.

About our presenter:
The many hats of Carolyn Stearns include storyteller, public speaker, farmer, 4-H leader, community activist, letterboxer, FFA supporter, friend to youth. Her storytelling takes experiences from all avenues and blends them with a language full of color and mood. Carolyn resides on the dairy farm that has seen 11 generations walk the same fields on the Eastern Ct. hilltop. Her lifelong love of horses and of history come pouring out in tales.
