Join us for a panel discussion on extreme weather and climate change with members of the Danbury community representing Western Connecticut State University Weather Center, the City of Danbury Office of Civil Preparedness and the Danbury Museum.


Panelists will discuss and answer questions related to the current climate crisis and how this global phenomenon affects local weather patterns both historically and today.  Learn how to prepare yourself for upcoming extreme weather events and what you can do to help your community.

This program is made possible by Resilient Communities: Libraries Respond to Climate Change, an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) to help libraries engage their communities in programs and conversations that address the climate crisis.
