LIVE VIRTUAL WORKSHOP: Hands-On STEAM Box Puppets

THIS IS A LIVE VIRTUAL PROGRAM VIA ZOOM. 

Ever wonder what to do with your recyclables? Why not create your very own characters! Join author and illustrator Brian Yanish, and discover how you can transform an old shoebox into a character from your own imagination. Hear how Brian designed and created the characters from his book, Shark and Bot, and then make your own with materials found at home.  

Materials required to build a Box Puppet*:

- 1 empty tissue box or shoe box

- 1 extra piece of thin cardboard (from any extra cardboard box)

- Colored construction paper or colored scrap paper

- Strong tape (masking tape or packing tape works best)

- Scissors

- Markers or Crayons

- School/Craft glue

Free! For ages 6+. Registration required to receive a Zoom invitation. Please note, this is a LIVE event presented on Zoom. Details will be sent to the email provided during registration. *Craft supplies available on a limited basis upon request.
