Event Details

Please Note: This is a virtual program via ZOOM. Participants will receive a link to the program via email once they have registered.

Through the art of stop-motion animation, we can bring anything to life! Learn the basics of this animation process by following along through a five-part, live-streamed conference course. Through the guidance of award-winning filmmaker, Jhonny Parks, students will learn what it takes to create a short stop-motion animated film, and create their very own cinematic masterpiece!

  • Class 1: What Is Stop-Motion Animation? (Jan. 25)

  • Class 2: Character Creation (Jan. 26)

  • Class 3: Animation Planning (Jan. 27)

  • Class 4: Animation Phase 1 (Jan. 28)

  • Class 5: Animation Phase 2 (Jan. 29)

Students will be provided with a special clay pack in advance of the course, and will use their own at-home technology (cellphone, tablet, laptop, etc.) to create their individual stop motion animation films.

Space is strictly limited, and a commitment to attending all five sessions is expected.

Free! Registration Required.
