Get informed about the science behind New England weather.

This is a series of four informational sessions, each focusing on a different weather topic. Presented by Meteorologist-In-Residence,  Eric Gottier as he discusses Danbury weather and how it affects you.


April 1 - "Water: Why in the sky?" how it gets into the sky, why it forms rain, and when it falls!

April 15 - "Warm Air:  Fuel for clouds!":  warm air as a fueling mechanism for clouds and rain

April 29 - "Low Pressure: The engine of a storm”: low pressure formation, and the mechanics of a low pressure storm

May 6 -  "Weather Prediction: When will it rain...and why?!": tie these things together, and show how we forecast based on these three mechanics!
